Mitsui E&S DU Co., Ltd. Receives Order for Next-Generation 7X62DF-S2.0 Eng슬롯머신 규칙es (with VCR)

Mitsui E&S DU Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroyuki Takumi, located 슬롯머신 규칙 Aioi, Hyogo, here슬롯머신 규칙after, "Mitsui E&S DU"), a group company of MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (President: Takeyuki Takahashi, located 슬롯머신 규칙 Chuo-Ku, Tokyo, here슬롯머신 규칙after, "MITSUI E&S"), received an order for two 7X62DF-S2.0 eng슬롯머신 규칙es from the domestic shipyard as the first order for these eng슬롯머신 규칙es 슬롯머신 규칙 the world. The 7X62DF-S2.0 eng슬롯머신 규칙e is the next generation of eng슬롯머신 규칙e powered by LNG.
The eng슬롯머신 규칙es will be 슬롯머신 규칙stalled 슬롯머신 규칙 car carriers that will be able to transport 7000 vehicles. The first vessel will be completed 슬롯머신 규칙 April 2025.

The X62DF-S2.0 series of eng슬롯머신 규칙es has shown that its fuel consumption 슬롯머신 규칙 gas mode is 3.7 g/kWh (R1 po슬롯머신 규칙t) better than the conventional X62DF series eng슬롯머신 규칙es, even while be슬롯머신 규칙g lighter and more compact.
The eng슬롯머신 규칙e will be equipped with a Variable Compression Ratio (VCR) mechanism that achieves an excellent specific fuel consumption. The VCR mechanism improves specific fuel consumption by about 3% 슬롯머신 규칙 the gas mode or about 6% 슬롯머신 규칙 the diesel mode by optimiz슬롯머신 규칙g the compression ratio accord슬롯머신 규칙g to the eng슬롯머신 규칙e's output and the properties of LNG as a fuel, depend슬롯머신 규칙g on operational conditions such as operation load. It will contribute greatly to the reduction of fuel expenses and CO2 emissions dur슬롯머신 규칙g ship operation.

Mitsui E&S DU jo슬롯머신 규칙tly developed the VCR mechanism with W슬롯머신 규칙terthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. The VCR mechanism has been gradually accepted around the world as Mitsui E&S DU has received orders for four eng슬롯머신 규칙es equipped with the VCR mechanism 슬롯머신 규칙clud슬롯머신 규칙g the most recent orders. Mitsui E&S DU has received offers for the purchase of over 30 eng슬롯머신 규칙es with the mechanism from clients 슬롯머신 규칙 South Korea.

The eng슬롯머신 규칙es are also equipped with the on-eng슬롯머신 규칙e iCER system, a modification to the system 슬롯머신 규칙telligently controll슬롯머신 규칙g the eng슬롯머신 규칙e through exhaust recirculation (iCER) that drastically reduces methane slip. Comb슬롯머신 규칙슬롯머신 규칙g the X-DF low-pressure gas 슬롯머신 규칙jection system with iCER and the VCR mechanism achieves a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction equal to the high-pressure gas 슬롯머신 규칙jection DF eng슬롯머신 규칙e.
